The making of a painting

"Summer Evenings" was a labor of love! The painting is from our beautiful Boise greenbelt and is a 24x36 acrylic on canvas. We are lucky in Idaho to have long summer evenings. Darin created a perfect frame out of streaked wormwood using a new Mitter joint for the corners. The effect is splendid! This painting will hang in the TVAA Play of Light and Shadow show through January 2023.
