![]() Our story begins in Monmouth, Oregon at Western Oregon State College where we met in 1986. I was majoring in art and graphic design and Darin was majoring in criminal Justice. That is where our love of travel began. A year after we met, we sold most of our things and took off for Massachusetts. While living on the East Coast we were fortunate enough to visit the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Norman Rockwell Museum, Boston Museum of Art and all of the States from Maine to Washington D.C. After five years living in New England, we decided to head back West and settled in Idaho. My first memories are of me sitting at a table drawing a horse. I could not have been more than four years old. As a kid, I always had a pencil and drawing pad in hand and took them everywhere I went. I participated in my first watercolor painting lessons at age seven and started oil painting when I was twelve. Art has always been a part of me and how I see and experience the world. Darin has always loved photography and he has continued to develop his skills as cameras have evolved from film to digital. He completed a great program through the New York Institute of Photography to help expand his knowledge. In recent years, he has found abstract photography and that has piqued his interest in modern art. Artwork and photography have continued to be a big part of our lives and we are excited to start creating!
